Graphite electrodes are a key industrial material, mainly produced from petroleum coke and needle coke as raw materials, combined with coal tar pitch through a complex manufacturing process. According to the differences in their performance indicators, graphite electrodes can be classified into three types: ordinary power, high power and ultra-high power.

Compared with ordinary graphite electrodes, ultra-high power graphite electrodes have a higher current-carrying capacity and higher electrolytic cell efficiency. Their high added value is in line with the direction of national supply-side reform, which prompts enterprises to optimize their production capacity structure and encourages the development of products such as ultra-high power graphite electrodes.

After extensive investigation, we chose to cooperate with Shanghai Cronus to jointly build a full-process large-scale ultra-high power graphite electrode production line. After the project was put into operation, it received unanimous praise from users, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent preparation of graphite electrodes.

This project selects high-efficiency, high-environmental protection and low-energy consumption European version grinding mills as core equipment. Professional engineers conduct on-site investigations and rationally layout the supporting facilities such as office buildings and air compressor stations to build a large-scale and high-quality grinding production line. It aims to achieve an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons of large-sized ultra-high power graphite electrodes, injecting new vitality into the local economic development.

It adopts thin oil lubrication, which has less lubrication resistance and lower oil temperature compared with the traditional grease lubrication method, and can effectively extend the service life of the bearing.

The new type of variable frequency powder separator features high precision of finished products

The new type of suspended cage-type powder separator is adopted, with frequency conversion control. The fineness is adjustable and controllable, meeting the requirements of various particle size specifications.

Production process of graphite products

It mainly includes processes such as calcination, grinding and preparation, kneading and roasting, and impregnation graphitization. Among them, the grinding stage generally involves crushing and grinding the calcined petroleum coke through a crusher and a grinding mill to obtain petroleum coke fine powder with a fineness of 200 mesh. The grinding stage is of vital importance, as the fineness distribution of the product after grinding and the purity of the finished powder will affect the quality of graphite products.
